The Nuremberg Punk Fest (NPF) took place for the first time this year and is a cooperation between two festival crews. Were you bored or what drove you to create this not necessarily small event out of thin air? 3 locations, 2 days and 30 bands ... sounds like an organizational heavyweight. Felix: We wouldn’t have gotten to where we are now with WASTED! and KNRD if we had thought small. The key is a little bit of madness in everything we do. Since NPF was a drunk idea at a concert a few years ago, it was the first thought not to start something little, but to create one big thing “with a loud blast”. How satisfied were you with the 2026 result? What special challenges did you face? Will there be a repeat in 2027 and are there any points that you have to rethink organizationally?
