DMB Records has been around since 2016, and you have been committed to “by bands for bands” from the very beginning. What exactly prompted you to found DMB Records back then and why label and booking agency? Lucien: Our goal was never to create a proper label or booking agency, we always just wanted to play as many live shows as possible. Over time, the 4-5 founding bands helped bring along more bands and eventually the whole thing grew. You will have your 10th anniversary in 2026. Are there any special events planned for the anniversary? When you founded it in 2016, would you have thought that DMB Records could become such a success story? Lucien: We are planning two special concerts for our 10-year anniversary in Bern and in Zurich and will feature as many of our bands as we can get to play.
