Mike - Underground Platform Operator
Could you please tell us something about the idea behind Support The Underground at the beginning. Mike: The idea behind this project was to support local and international bands through concerts, promotion, and various other activities. More than 5 years ago, during the Covid pandemic, I had more time to focus on such projects and started this initiative together with my cooperation partner, Markus Winkler from Mars Music Production. Since then, we have released 5 compilation albums featuring more than 100 bands from different countries. I am currently working on the sixth edition of the compilation. In addition, I have organized around 20 concerts in Vienna under this project name and nearly 500 (total) under Musicjunky Bookings & Records (MJ). As mentioned, you are also behind MJ.
