How did you come to work as a tour manager, stage manager, artist manager etc.? Etjen: I never planned on a career in the music industry - it happened naturally through the DIY punk scene. In the early 2000s, I started organizing local shows and helping friends‘ bands tour, and when I realized there was a growing need for someone to manage tour logistics, I founded Just Like Your Mom. From there, my work expanded from tour management into stage management and artist management. Every step came from being involved, building relationships, and taking on new challenges, allowing me to turn a passion for live music into a multifaceted career.
