MAKABAR has been around for 10 years. Do you have anything special planned for this anniversary, apart from the release of your second album „Hinlänglich belegt“? If you could wish for something for the next 10 years as a band, what would it be? Eric: We had a big anniversary celebration with fans, friends, and family at our sold-out third International Ska Punk Night in January, supported by the mighty UNDANKBAR and our icons LOS FASTIDIOS! To stay realistic, headlining Rock am Ring would be something! Besides that, I think the best wish is to keep the joy of making music and always have something to say. „Hinlänglich belegt” was recorded and mixed in two phases at two different studios. Why did you choose this way of working? Were there any concerns that splitting the recording process could result in differences in quality?
