EMERGE hasn’t been around for too long. Could you please give us a short outline of the band’s history or the creation of the band? Luke: EMERGE started with Ryan’s vision of creating a band with an uncompromising sound. He began looking for like-minded musicians to help bring that vision to life. Dwayne was the first to come on board and put together some early demos, which caught Benito’s attention. Harley joined on bass soon after and the band had its first rehearsal. At the time, Ryan and I had been trying to start another project that never got off the ground, so when I saw what EMERGE was building, I jumped in on guitar. Musically, according to the band info, you move between Rock and Prog to Nu Metal and Death Metal. Is this broad mix of styles due to the fact that you are only at the beginning of the band’s history and don’t yet know where the journey should finally go?
