When did you start AUXWEG HANEBÜCHEN? How do you know each other and more importantly, how did you come to make this kind of music, which could be an exciting challenge for one ear or the other?
AUXWEG HANEBÜCHEN was first foretold in badly read coffee grounds sometime during early medieval table rituals. For a long time, AUXWEG HANEBÜCHEN existed without musicians and far away from any kind of public attention - until we joined at the end of 2024 as the first two members of the duo. There we discovered the opportunity, through the most banal form of DIY imaginable, to create exactly the kind of music we wanted to hear - music that until then could be found nowhere else. Probably because it was too extreme - even for the most ass-f*ck*d alternative acts. Or simply too dumb!

With your EP you want to set „a haptic monument against the fleeting digital modernity“. Why do you think that digital modernity has no future? Wouldn’t it have been consistent if you had completely renounced Bandcamp and YouTube?
We’re old as hell. We still remember the age of the steam engine quite well. Apart from a few enthusiasts, however, hardly anyone still powers their refrigerator or vacuum cleaner with it. From this we conclude that every technology that appears progressive will eventually be replaced by an even more innovative idea. The only exceptions we see are the use of fire, the wheel, and electro-punk! … and of course our use of Bandcamp and YouTube is nothing more than a nostalgic quirk.

Is the EP just the beginning or in other words, what else can we expect from you? What do you have planned after the EP?
To give the ears inclined toward us the chance to listen to the songs from our EP even without a streaming service or electricity provider, we are planning to perform live more frequently in the near future. But in order to offer added value to those who follow us in the digital world, we’ll bring along unreleased songs that haven’t been uploaded anywhere yet. With us, nothing is predictable - and everything counts!
